Having neglected our blog for quite some time, I thought that this was the perfect time of year to revisit it. With the joy and excitement of the holiday season all around us, there are many new happenings taking place at Penny Lane.
First off, we have new holiday hours for the month of December.

We are also approaching the start of Nevada City's Victorian Christmas. This unique event begins Wednesday December 7th and continues the following two Wednesdays, December 14th and 21st, from 5-9pm; as well Sunday December 11th and Sunday December 18th, from 1:30-6pm. Victorian Christmas is truly magical, with traditional carolers, carriage rides, tasty treats, and of course, Santa Claus. Fun is to be had by the whole family! My children have always loved the Victorian Christmas' that take place at night, when our sweet, little town is lit-up with twinkling lights. 
If you happen to be in town for either of the Sunday Victorian Christmas', bring your children by Penny Lane for Christmas Story Time. We will be reading a variety of holiday tales from our bookshelves from 2:00-4:00pm.
Next, Penny Lane is going to posting a Christmas Shopping Guide featuring wonderful treasures from our shop that will surely please the children on your shopping list! Stay tuned!
And finally, for our Facebook Fans, we will be beginning our 12 Days of Christmas Countdown. Check out our Facebook page every day beginning December 7th and ending December 18th, to find a special offers on select merchandise. Each day will highlight a different item and the offer will only be good that day! (You will also be able to make the purchases online!)
